For many years the Junior Development Tennis Program offered through the Garden City Casino has provided outstanding results for GCs aspiring tennis stars. Adapted from the most widely accepted teaching principles and supervised by Certified Tennis Coaches and Instructors, the program utilizes the latest teaching and learning strategies from the nation's top teaching professionals. This unique fun filled program has been teaching our children to love the sport of tennis for many years. Hundreds of children from 4 through high school have enjoyed our program and have returned year after year. The program is based on the most widely accepted tennis teaching principles and offers children, from beginner to advanced, a chance to learn, to have fun, and to improve their skills. The program combines age appropriate athletics, skill development, sportsmanship and just plain fun, with an emphasis on fun. New this year is a special Program for 4 to 8 year olds - Quick Start Tennis the USTA's brand new format.

This year there are only 2 sessions: July 7 and July 21. Payment must be received by June 30 to assure a spot. Applications are available at the Casino.
