Great Positioning by Goalie Molitor
Great Positioning by Goalie Molitor Two Garden City teams played each other on June 1st at St. Paul's in a match play format with both teams being equally divided between two teams - Sweet-Molitor-Griffith versus Pfail-Callahan-Griffith-Joyce. Top Coach Goalies Rob Griffith, Brooks Sweet, and Mark Molitor shared the goaltending duties. Goalie Griffith wandered out of the goal to intercept passes and make great stops demonstrating his athletic ability. Goalie Sweet played with two sticks in an attempt to stop the barrage. Goalie Molitor who shared the duties with Goalie Sweet made several point blank saves and demonstrated a quick stick and caused both refs to remark "what a great game he played." The game was exciting and created many laughs as well as great passes and goals.

The two split squads had a great time and after the match enjoyed a tremendous party with everything you could ask for from pizza, cookies, soda, and ice cream. Many thanks to all of the parents (especially the organizers) and coaches for such a great time and fun way to end the home season.
