Mrs. Dell Dalton, Mrs. Shirley Weiss, Mrs. Fran Treiber Pattarini The Colonel Aaron Ogden Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution hosted a luncheon to recognize the contributions that Ms. Norma Plett gave to the Districts X & XI of the NYS DAR organization.

The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, was founded in 1890, to promote Educational, Historical and Patriotic endeavors.

Any woman over the age of eighteen is eligible to join the Daughters of the American Revolution if they can prove their direct descendancy to a patriot or soldier of the Revolutionary War.

The Chapter also sponsors the Sarah Townsend Society, Children of the American Revolution for children under the age of eighteen who can prove their direct descendancy to a patriot or soldier of the Revolutionary War. For information on joining, please call Donna Jennings Serpico at 354-8218.
