take a tour of the waldorf astoria

On September 9th, the Recreation Department, in partnership with Prime Time Travel, will take a trip to the city to the Waldorf Astoria. We will tour this world famous landmark,visiting several of their key showplace rooms and even the posh Waldorf Towers. We will then end with a delicious luncheon buffet at Oscar's Restaurant. The trip will cost $89 and a $25 deposit in the form of a check made payable to Prime Time Travel is necessary now to reserve a seat for this trip. Space is limited to 20 people. To reserve a seat, please visit the Recreation Department's Administrative Offices next door to St. Paul's Senior Center at 108 Rockaway Avenue.

St. Paul's senior center

St Paul's Senior Center is located in the cottages at St. Paul's Recreation Complex and is open Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for any resident of Garden City aged 60 or older and the guest. The weekly schedule is as follows:

Monday, June 2 10 a.m. Exercise with Felicia followed by Bingo

Tuesday, June 3 10 a.m. - Board Game Fun, try scrabble or monopoly!

Wednesday, June 410 a.m. Exercise with Felicia

11:30 a.m. Brown bag Lunch and today is especially important as we will celebrate all June, July and August birthdays.

12:30 p.m. GC Police Officer Rich Pedone will give us insights on criminal justice.
