The Adelphi NY Statewide Breast Cancer program is offering new support groups. There is no cost for any group; however pre- registration is required. Unless otherwise noted, groups meet at Adelphi University School of Social Work, Garden City. For women newly diagnosed with breast cancer - Wednesday evenings.

Meets weekly for eight weeks, 7 pm - 8:30 pm, tentatively beginning June 18.

For women with metastatic breast cancer - Tuesday evenings.

This ongoing group meets weekly from 7 pm - 8:30 PM.

For women with breast cancer - Monday afternoons.

Meets weekly for eight weeks, 2 - 3:30 pm, tentatively beginning on June 9.

The Close Knit Group - second Thursday of the month, afternoon.

This is a support and handicraft group (knitting, crocheting, sewing), meeting from 1:30 pm - 3 pm on June12, July 10 and August 14.
