Kyle Bratton carrying the ball up field The GC Warriors soundly defeated the Manhasset Blades 3-0 on Saturday, May 17th. GC played the width of the field throughout the game, and moved the ball up field with crisp, clean passes. The boys took advantage of numerous rebounds off Manhasset's goalie, including a big shot from Kyle Bratton which Owen Fisher converted into the first of his two game goals. Chris Koester's cross from the right corner landed the ball right in front of the net, where Timmy Foxen finished it off with a diving header into the goal for the score. GC's defense was solid, continually containing the ball and feeding it up into the offensive zone. Chris Larkin stepped up to fill in as goalie and did a great job, earning the shut out. It was a complete team effort for the win- way to go Warriors!
