The seventh grade Lady Rams Grey pushed their record to 6-0 this season with a convincing 15-2 win over visiting Floral Park this past Saturday at St. Paul's.

The Lady Rams maintained a steady offensive pressure throughout the first half as they built an 11-0 lead at the intermission. Goal scorers on the day included Jackie Jahelka (3), Krista Dampman (2), Mary Glenn (2), Haley Shannon (2), as well as solo tallies by Bitty Furman, Lilly Schmidt, Marie Cristoforo, Erin Higgins, Nickie Berkery, and Addie Zebrowski.

The first half dominance was aided by the strong passing games of Taylor Pappas (3 assists), and Kaitlin Mallon (2 assists) who set-up numerous scoring opportunities throughout the afternoon.

Jackie Ferri played her usual steady game in goal, recording four saves and was protected by the stalwart defensive play of Megan Higgins and Haley Newlin-Wagner. Both Higgins and Newlin-Wagner used their strong checking and groundball skills to keep Floral Park at bay throughout the contest.

The Grey Lady Rams, led by coaches Jahelka, Coleman, and Shannon take their show on the road this Saturday morning when they visit undefeated Rockville Centre (also 6-0 on the season) in what promises to be a tremendous game - Go Lady Rams Go!
