Their faces say it all! The GC Rams 2nd grade lax team traveled to the North Shore to play in their first ever tournament against North Shore Lacrosse Club and Long Beach. The overwhelming excitement and enthusiasm of the 2nd graders resulted in GC sending two teams to participate. Team Maroon first faced off against a tough Long Beach squad while Team Gray was challenged by the host team, North Shore Lacrosse Club. As the start horn sounded, the excitement began. Both GC teams played hard and implemented all the skills they have learned during their weekly practices. All the boys had a great time fine-tuning their skills in a competitive environment. Most importantly, they learned teamwork and good sportsmanship. GC will play host on Friday, May 16th at GC High School.
