Team Friendship
Team Friendship The Renegades Young Guns played their first home games at St. Pauls on May 6th verse Massapequa. The Young Guns prepared for battle by velcroing on their shoulder pads and elbow pads, buckling up helmets and mouth pieces were in. As they took the field against a Massapequa Blue team who were in no mood to lay down, the Renegades pushed the tempo from the get go and following their coaches instructions of passing the rock around the field and taking advantage of the width of the field with their strong legs. It was a delight seeing the Young Guns play as a balance team with unselfish passing and teaming up on the defensive end. With numerous parents and friends of the families watching, the boys fought back from a two goal deficit and produced 4 goals of their own. Stella goal keeping from KDog kept the Renegades on the move and led to many fast breaks. The Young Guns then played 10 minutes later against Massapequa Gold team and started as they left off, running. The Young Guns quickly converted on 5 straight team oriented goals. After sprinting to the lead and the sun going down, the Renegades defense dug into the St. Pauls field and put a lock down on the Massapequa team for a well played victory. The Young Guns then rode off into the sunset.

Here's your help>>>>>
Here's your help>>>>> On May 10 the Young Guns headed to Field of Dreams in Massapequa to replay their friends. It was a great morning for lacrosse, as the Young Guns came out firing on all cylinders. After taking their coaches advice and stay low on ground balls, since the field had many divots and mud from the night before, the Young Guns scooped and passed their way to a well fought 7 to 2 victory. Parents and coaches were impressed to see how the boys took their skills they have learned in practice and applied them to the field, it was definitely one of their best efforts of the season. The Renegades would like to thank the Massapequa boys and their coaches for helping us teach the boys, as they played. Renegades would also like to thank them for their invitation to participate in the Massapequa Lacrosse Tournament, we will be sure to bring our "A" Game. Thanks again to everyone for their support of the kids, we really appreciate it.
