On the evening of Friday, April 18, in a packed ballroom at the Garden City Hotel, the Garden City Chamber of Commerce celebrated its Sixth Annual Pineapple Ball. Nearly 300 guests came to honor Gerard Lundquist, Garden City's "Citizen of the Year," Dennis Donnelly, Community Achievement Award recipient' and Stuart Lobow, "Business Person of the Year." Also recognized was Madison Horl, a Garden City High School senior who received the Excellence in Business Education Scholarship Award from the Chamber's charitable foundation. Following the presentation, guests danced the night away to the music of Chaser.
