But an eight run rally, capped with a 2-out 2-strike pitch for a single by Pete Bonchonsky, tied the game at 12. By the time the game ended at 8:30 pm, the Trojans had given up two runs in the top of the 8th and eventually lost 14-12. Topher DiBona and James Cauchi contributed with two hits each.
