Great leaping play versus Lynbrook The 6th Grade Girls White Sweeties played very hard and defeated a very stubborn Lynbrook team 12-7. Both Goalies, Evan Molitor and Lauren Garizio scored goals as well as made 8 saves between them. GC never trailed in the game with Halle Watkus, Alex Riceman, Samantha Dragatto, and Sage Fuller playing a clearing mobile defense. Amanda Kelly, Meaghan Mulhall, Kristen Rasquin, and Maggie Rogers managed to keep the ball in the offensive zone most of the time getting their share of groundballs. GC led at halftime 6-4 and extended it in the second half with strong defense. Besides, the goalies, the other goal scorers were Jamie Sweet, Kayla Murphy, Katherine Malhame, Sara Galzerano and Erin Pfail.
