The PTA Fundraising Dinner was a tremendous success, as well as a fun time for all those who attended. The Inn at New Hyde Park created the perfect setting. Cynthia George, co-chair of the dinner, said the women on the dinner committee did an exceptional job, from their first meeting in the fall until the evening of the dinner. More ... On April 4th, over 600 students from the Long Island area made presentations at the final round of the Al Kalfus Long Island Math Fair held at Hofstra University. Nikolas Bentel and Michaela Zuber, both eighth graders at the Waldorf School of Garden City, were awarded a bronze and silver medal, respectively. More ... Garden City, NY Tuesday, April 15, 2008 - On Saturday, March 15, over 450 students studying German in grades 7 through 12 from 16 schools throughout Long Island attended the 18th annual "Sprachfest" language festival, sponsored by the Long Island chapter of the American Association of Teachers of German at the Garden City High School.
