Members of the Colonial Aaron Ogden Chapter of the National Society, Daughters of the American Revolution, will meet on May 7th at the Garden City Historical Society, beginning at 11:00am. The meeting will be chaired by Chapter Regent Mrs. Bruce Littlejohn. An exciting program is planned. Members will be treated to a concert of Colonial Songs as performed by Mr. Tim Fitall and his brother, Mike Fitall.

The Fitalls will perform with traditional instruments of the Colonial period including the fife and drum, mandolin, guitar, fiddle, tin whistles and vocals. Music will include courting and love songs, marches, drinking songs, dance songs and hymns.

Following the business meeting, a fingertip luncheon will be served, followed by our musical program.. Hostesses for the luncheon are June Fay and Joan Rodriguez.

We hope that all of our members will turn out for what is certain to be a lively and interesting musical interlude.
