Police Report: Mischief and Mayhem
Between April 26 and 27, there were six criminal mischief incidents, mainly broken driveway lights and damaged wiper blades on cars, in the areas of Huntington Road., Stewart Avenue, Wyatt Road, and Kilburn Road...On April 23, PO Dallolio arrested a 33-year-old Franklin Square man at the scene of an accident for the possession of cocaine. Evidently the man had produced his license with cocaine in a clear plastic envelope attached to it... PO Hennessy arrested a 44-year-old Lawrence man at Clinton Road, for an outstanding traffic warrant from Glen Cove ,and for a railroad warrant for being in an unauthorized area, as well as no insurance, on April 25. The motorist was initially stopped for defective headlights... Between 10:50 AM and 11 AM, on April 25, someone entered the premises at a Franklin Avenue business and took a carry-all bag containing $60, a cell phone, and 2 credit cards...

An oil burner blowback occurred at an Arthur Street house on April 24... Youths were evidently building a bonfire at Raymond Court on April 25, and the police advised that they will be increasing patrols in that area...Garbage bags were on fire inside an Adams Street house on April 25. The fire was a result of saw dust...A street light pole came down at Edgemere Road on April 27 and the Village was contacted to have it serviced...
