GC Clergy Meet With GC School Superintendent

St. Joseph School Proudly Presents Looking Glass Land
      The Drama Club's months and months of hard work paid off in a huge way last week with the school's production of Looking Glass Land. The students of the school were treated to a dress rehearsal and tickets were a hot commodity for Friday night and Saturday afternoon. Miss Marie Impellizeri's directional debut was a rousing success as the kids hit their marks in all three productions.

Senior Boys Attend Men's Health Program
      The Garden City High School senior boys attended the annual Men's Health Awareness Program on March 29, 2007, in the school library. This seminar was coordinated by the high school nurse, Mrs. Eileen Wyremski, R.N. The educational program focused on testicular cancer education and the importance of testicular self-examination.

Rosin Flies As Musicians Perform Together
      The Garden City High School Chamber Orchestra and the 6th, 7th and 8th Grade Orchestras performed side-by-side on April 14th, when the High School musicians visited the Middle School to play with their younger counterparts.

Hofstra Professor Conducts Guest Workshop At GCHS
      Dr. Fryling immediately caught the attention of the large Concert Choir at the Garden City High School as he de-manded the student singers do a string of exercises in which they had to pay close attention to and repeat the many nuances of vocal sounds. He not only commanded attention, but in this manner, he made learning enjoyable.Once everyone was loosened up, he shaped the sound.
