Jade Mo & Pamela Hyer of Twigs; Anne-marie diSalvo (seated) President of diSalvo Interiors Twigs of Winthrop University Hospital's Women Auxiliary cordially invites you to its Spring Membership Reception to be held at 7 pm on Thursday evening at di Salvo Interiors located at 840 Franklin Avenue in Garden City.

Twigs is proud to be an integral part of Winthrop University Hospital's ongoing expansion and renovation projects. Currently, Twigs is targeting its fundraising activities toward the modernization of the Maternal Child Care Unit. Since its inception in 1967, Twigs has supported Winthrop University Hospital's campaigns, which have included the New Life Center, the Pastoral Care Program, and the Hagedorn Inpatient Pediatric Center.

Twigs is also supported by the Twigs High School Club. Through bake sales and other fundraisers the Club has ordered magazine subscriptions for teenage patients at the Hagedorn Center and purchased DVDs for laptops donated by Twigs.

Through the generosity of the Garden City Chamber of Commerce and local merchants, the Twigs Pediatric Project provides fun and entertainment to help raise the spirits of young children in the Pediatric Center. In teams of two, Twigs' volunteers spend two hours one afternoon sponsoring/hosting a fun activity for young patients.

Long a tradition of Twigs, the Golden Goose Gala's Candlelight House Tour and Holiday Shopping Boutique are highly anticipated fall events. This year, Twigs looks forward to its 34th Annual Golden Goose Gala.

Twigs will be welcoming new members and sharing the many avenues of volunteering in its organization. For more information, please contact Jenni-fer Miller at 747-5546 or email her at jennifermiller@att.net.
