"Life Care" Presentation At The Community Church

Margaret Minichini "What is Life Care?" This and all aspects of this new style of retirement living will be presented at the Garden City Community Church forum at 9:30 A, M. on Sunday, April 20 by Margaret Minichini, Director of Community Relations for the Amsterdam At Harborside. Her presentation is titled "The Financial and Lifestyle Benefits of Life Care". All are welcome to learn about this interesting and important topic for seniors and their children.

Many older adults are seeking guidance on protecting their assets and paying for an increased level of assistance or care that they face in their retirement years. They will find how Life Care can provide protection for these concerns. In her presentation Ms. Mini-chini will address the legislation and oversight of life care in New York State, the payment and fee structure for these facilities, the long term care benefits and the financial and lifestyle benefits of the Life Care.

Margaret Minichini has worked for the past several years in life care communities on Long Island. She is experi-enced in both residential senior community living and health care options for seniors. Prior to her work with life care communities, Ms. Minichini worked overseas as an economic development consultant in emerging economies. She received her MBA from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, in 1991 and holds a BA from Rutgers University.

The Community is invited to attend the forum in the church parlor. Garden City Community Church is a member of the United Church of Christ, and is an Open and Affirming congregation. Worship Services are on Sunday at 8:30 and 10:30 a.m., with church school for children and crib room for infants and toddlers at the later service.
