Marsha Marino Community Mainstreaming Associates, Inc., (CMA) recently named Marsha Marino as Medicaid Service Coordination Supervisor. Ms. Marino previously served as a part-time Medicaid Service Coordinator.

Ms. Marino received her Master's of Social Work in 1993 from Adelphi University Graduate School of Social Work. Prior to working at CMA, Ms. Marino was a social worker at Family Service League in Bay Shore. In this position, Ms. Marino facilitated support groups for parents with mental illness under the CAPT program (Children and Parents Together).

Ms. Marino will provide oversight to all of the Medicaid service coordination services provided to CMA residents throughout Nassau County. Through her leadership, Ms. Marino will provide training, support and supervision to all Medicaid service coordinators, ensuring that the highest quality care is being provided to the men and women of CMA.

Ms. Marino stated, "I will work to help CMA resident achieve their hopes and dreams while ensuring that their needs continue to stay a top priority. It is my pleasure to help such extraordinary people lead ordinary lives"

Community Mainstreaming Associates, Inc., (CMA) is a private, non-profit organization that has been caring for the needs of people with developmental disabilities since 1980 by enhancing each individual's level of independence.

CMA participants receive residential services in Glen Cove, Kings Point, Manhasset, Port Washington and Westbury. CMA also offers a Vocational services program that provides occupational assessments, job training, and intensive supported employment services.
