Fresh off their victory in game one of the Waldbaum's Cup, the Patriettes were looking forward to a competitive and physical match-up. The Patriettes played a strong first half, maintaining possession of the ball and putting constant pressure on the North Shore keeper. Garden City led North Shore 2-0 at the half. Despite the vigorous efforts of the Patriettes' defense, North Shore came back in the second half and tied the score. A penalty shot then gave North Shore the lead. The Patriettes fought hard for possession, but North Shore scored again and the Patriettes were defeated by a score of 5-2. A disappointing loss. The Patriettes play Wantagh next week at home. Let's go Patriettes!
