The International Thespian Society officially recognized Troupe #7135 in December 2006 with 15 inductees led by their advisor, Theater Arts teacher Laura Rebecca (seated, left, on stage). Troup members include: Top Row: Gabe Mollica, Liz DeBold, Alison Rose, Liam Bingham, Xavier Alisse, Kaitlin Seiferth, Brian Plaut, James Akel, Kacie Flynn, Jen Klupka, Jeremy Snailer. Seated on stage: Laura Rebecca (advisor), Ryan Johnston, Chris Burcheri, Caitlin Crowley, Allyson Maclay, Maggie Tittler, Andrea Boccia, Amanda Efthimiou, Jen Yoo, Michelle Velez, Tara Stephens, Kim Foxen. On steps: Gemma Donofrio, Brittany Stein. Ashley Galligan, Brittany Rotella, Rebecca Levine, Kristen Focella, Emily Monaghan, Allison Heuser, Melissa Johnston, Emily Werner are also troupe members. Seventeen Garden City High School students were inducted into Troupe #7135 of the International Thespian Society (ITS) in February, brining the troupe's membership to a grand total of 32.

The Induction Ceremony was held in the Inez Norman Spiers Theater at the High School. It was the Troupe's second ceremony to welcome members into the internationally recognized honor society for students involved in theater.

Superintendent Robert Feirsen, Principal Frank Banta, Assistant Principal Adele Bacotti, District Coordinator of Music and the Arts James McCrann, and High School Faculty and Masquers Advisors Stephen Mayo, Brandon Psenicka, Jeanne Kennedy and Kathryn Parathyras attended the ceremony, along with many of the inductees' friends and family members.

Troupe members provide leadership within the High School's theater program and run a concession during theatrical productions. They are also involved in many other theater-related activities, including the annual NYS Theater Education Association (TEA) Student Conference, trips to Broadway plays, and fundraising for organization such as Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS.
