The Annual St. Patrick's Day Luncheon was recently held at Carltun on the Park in Eisenhower Park. The tradition behind the luncheon is to honor Project Children. The project, which has been in existence since 1975, provides thousands of children from Belfast with an opportunity to have an enjoyable summer in the United States. Additionally, the Feis Committee of the Nassau County Board of the Ancient Order of Hibernians (A.O.H.) was honored at the luncheon. Nassau County Clerk Maureen O'Connell (pictured 3 rd right), who attended the luncheon, was joined by members of the Irish Americans in Government: (l-r) Family Court Chief Court Attorney Jeff Carpenter, Esq., Rev.
