Members of the Colonel Aaron Ogden Chapter of the National Society, Daughters of the American Revolution met on February 5 th to attend a program honoring our nation's first president, George Washington. Regent Janet Chapin Littlejohn conducted the meeting.

The program, conducted by NSDAR member Leslie Dimmling, was "Mount Vernon Revisited." Chapter members took a brief informative quiz about the life of George Washington. This was followed by a 40-minute DVD which detailed the recent multi-million dollar renovation of the Museum at Mount Vernon. State of the art forensics were used to painstakingly re-create the face of General Washington at various periods in his life. Accurate statistical information, such as clothing measurements, was used to help make the life-like wax figures of Washington which grace the museum.
