The magnificent Palm Screen is set behind the altar and awaits the Palm Sunday worshippers. Members of the Cathedral of the Incarnation gathered together on Saturday, March 15 to construct the beautiful Palm Screen that graced the main altar of the church on Palm Sunday. Palm Sunday is the Sunday before Easter and it marks the beginning of Holy Week. On Palm Sunday, Christians recall Jesus' entry into Jerusalem riding on an ass and being greeted with waving palms and shouts of Hosanna.

It took many hours and many hands to assemble this work of art. Each participant brought along a cutting board and paring knife to prepare the palms for the screen. The results of this year's work were particularly spectacular.
