It is spring cleaning time and the Community Club of Garden City and Hempstead is no different from you and me. They have gone through things they have used with love and care and finally decided it was time to part with some of them. Therefore, they will be holding a silent auction at their April 2 nd general meeting from 12:15 to 1:30 p.m. before their monthly program. Members are sure to find items that they can use themselves or give to someone else who is looking for just that item and who will use and love it as we have done. The items are in tip-top condition and are looking for a new home where they will continue to be used and loved. Come early and put down your bid on any item that catches your fancy and you may be able to take home a treasure. This is a first for us and we hope that you will join in the fun. Admittance is for members of the club and their guests and it will take place at the Garden City Casino.
