Creating A Patio Garden

On Tuesday, March 11 th at 1:30 p.m. , the Garden Department of the Community Club of Garden City and Hempstead will present Susan King in a program on "Creating a Patio Garden" at the G.C. Casino. A patio is what you make it, whether it is a small or large area in your garden or a terrence off your condo or apartment. Susan will tell you what are the best kinds of plants and how to arrange them artfully so you can achieve the maximum effect. Susan is a garden designer and owner of Gardenviews, a design business for the do-it-yourself homeowner. She has made presentations to many organizations including Hicks Nursery, Hofstra University Flower Show, and the L.I. Horticulture Society. Members and their guests will be able to connect with Susan during the Tea Hour where she will be happy to answer any of your questions.
