The weather was beautiful and the spirit infectious as the award-winning band took to the streets. Our new school banner led the group followed by the color guard, School Board and PTA Executive Board, Priests and Faculty and was followed by the parents and students. An Irish feast awaited the marchers and parishioners at the beautifully decorated school gym. Meg McCartney, Party Chairperson, hosted over 260 guests and treated them to corned beef and cabbage and Irish Dancers from the Danny Golden School in Mineola, the music of Shay Mac and a lucky buck raffles. A very happy St. Patrick's Day to all our friends and supporters and a huge "thank you" to Elizabeth Doctor, former school parent, for coordinating the ever-popular dancers, including her sons Sean and Kieran.
