Coach Sullivan gives last minute advice
Coach Sullivan gives last minute advice Saturday afternoon proved to be a very exciting day for the GC boys swim team. Missing one of their top swimmers, the team knew it would be a struggle to place in the top three. Each athlete stepped up to the challenge and did their best. The excitement started Thursday evening when Mike Abatemarco finished in the top eight in the diving competition. Mike has done a great job diving for the team this season. Throughout the season Mike's dives grew stronger and his scores got higher. Each member of the team, swimming in the division championship swam their best times. The 200 freestyle was one of the closest races in the meet. Captain Sean Lane touched out a Great Neck South swimmer to place 1st in the event.
