The weekend services included sermon messages from Pastor Emeritus, Rev. William Meyer, festive music with tympani, trumpets, the hand bell and several vocal choirs. Over 300 guests attended a Dinner Dance at Westbury Manor to celebrate this significant milestone in the community. Among awards presented was a plaque to Mrs. Adelaide List, charter member of Resurrection, who was instrumental in inviting neighbors and residents to attend the new church.

Resurrection is a multi-site Christian community of faith. All are invited to worship at 5:30 PM on Saturdays and at 8:30 and 11 AM Sunday mornings, with Christian Education at 9:45 AM at the 420 Stewart Avenue location in Garden City.
