The knitters and crotchetier of the Cathedral of the Incarnation's Prayer Shawl Ministry are very busy creating beautiful shawls that are distributed to those who need comforting physically or spiritually. At last count, the group had finished 62 shawls that were blessed and delivered to those in need of support. The group meets once a month to support each other and to knit and crotchet together. Do you like to knit and crochet and would like to join this group? Or do you know of anyone who could use the comfort of a prayer shawl that has been lovingly made and sent with prayers for comfort and recovery? You do not need to be a member of the Cathedral of the Incarnation or an Episcopalian to make or receive a shawl. For further information about this ministry or other activities and events at the Cathedral, call Deacon Connie Lorenz at 746-2955 or visit the website at www.incarnationgc.org. More...
