4th grade boys looking very innocent! Catholic Schools Week, with the slogan "Catholic Schools Light the Way", started off at St. Joseph's School with an Opening Mass, celebration breakfast and a wildly successful Curriculum Sunday and Open House showcasing them many wonderful talents of the students, teachers and extra curricular club members. The award-winning band greeted the line of newcomers waiting to sign in for tours while the present school families enjoyed a "thank you breakfast" hosted by the PTA. Then, it was off to the classrooms, decorated to the hilt, in the theme for the week. Each and every class offered experiments, demonstrations, readings or songs. The effort put in by the teachers and students was extraordinary! As the February 12th registration date approaches, we encourage our friends and neighbors to take a moment to visit our school website at www.advantageforlife.org or call the school at 747-2730 to arrange a private tour. Take a look at what makes St. Joseph School an academic leader in the diocese and a very special place to be, as the special guest speakers at all the Masses last weekend, our graduating 8th graders, so aptly put in all of their speeches.
