Thomas Ryder of Garden City distributes soccer balls donated by local residents to Iraqi children. Hundreds of soccer balls were collected in November by the Garden City Goalbusters girls' soccer team on behalf of the Centennial Soccer Club and GCAA. Lt. Garden City High School senior Brittany Stein performed in the New York All-State Women's Chorus at the Eastman Theatre in Rochester in December as a part of the New York State School Music Association Winter Conference.
