PTA Nominating Committee Elected
The PTA Nominating Committee was elected at the November General PTA meeting by the PTA membership. They are ready to do their job...but they need your help. Filling the open positions of the Executive Committee is an important job and we don't want to miss any-one who may be a good candidate, so we are counting on you. Take a look around. Think about the people that volunteer, are organized, have good leadership abilities, and are well re-spected and pass their name, or your own, along to someone on the Nominating Committee.

Remember - Research shows that children of parents involved in their childrens' education do better in school.
Currently there are 5 positions available on the PTA Executive Committee for 2008-2009. They are -
PRESIDENT - As you may have seen in the GC News, our current president, Angela Heineman, has been nominated by the CPOA as their Board of Education Trustee. Therefore this position will be available. The PTA President oversees the day-to-day functions of the entire PTA. In the event that we are unable to find someone to fill the position of President our by-laws do allow the option of Co-Presidents.
1st Vice President/Budget - Chairperson of the Budget Review Committee.
