The Garden City Jewish Center is looking for heroes to donate blood at its blood drive on January 20th, from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the GCJC, 168 Nassau Blvd., Garden City.

Cholesterol testing will be done at the time of the donation, with the results mailed to your home.

Eligibility Criteria:

- Must have a valid ID and know Social Security number.

- Minimum weight 110 lbs.

- Between 16-76 years of age

- No tattoos in the last year

The blood drive will be run by Long Island Blood Services.
