St. Joseph School Night At The Races A Racing Success!!
Mrs. Carney and some of her children. The Carney family, last year's Limited Raffle Grand Prize winner and longtime school families and supporters, donated the new flagpole to the school from their winnings. Thank you, Carneys!
The St. Joseph School PTA hosted it's first ever Night at the Races this fall and the event, chaired by Tara Griffith, was a tremendous success by any standards. The event combined the love of hoarse racing with the thrill of a live and silent auction. Beautiful furs, sentimental class projects and exclusive golf events were just some of the items up for grabs during the auction segment of the evening. A special word of thanks to the Albertrani family for supplying the authentic horse racing decorations and jerseys! Also new at this event was the announcement of the winners of the SJS Limited Raffle. The raffle was moved to the Fall this year and the second place winners were a lucky group of faculty and staff from our school and the first place winner was none other than the family of our current PTA Co-President! Thanks to our chairperson and hard working committee members for an exciting evening and thanks to all our community supporters and those who attended the event. Please visit our school website for more information at www.advantageforlife.org .
