A Word From The Publisher New Years is around the corner, and we would like to wish all of our readers a Happy New Year. This is a time of year when many people make a list of their failings and try to address them with resolutions to do better. But by March, most of us have fallen off the "eat right" / "exercise more" bandwagon. We'd like to suggest a more positive way of looking at things - make a list of ten things you would like to do or accomplish this year. These can be anything that will give you happiness or a sense of satisfaction at having completed, such as taking a course in something that's always interested you, or going to visit a place you've always wanted to see. The list should be about things that will make you happier, and not about things you "should" do. The making of the list can in itself be an enlightening job because it forces you think about what things make you happy, and even if you don't accomplish all ten, it is a roadmap to follow. (We got this idea from reading the blog of Laurie Perry (www.crazyauntpurl.com), a California author who created a Big List of 100 things she wanted to do in life.)
