Estates POA January Electors' Meeting

The Estates POA will host the Estates Electors' meeting to be held at 8:00PM on Tuesday, January 15th 2008 at Stratford School Auditorium. All residents are encouraged to attend in order to vote for Estates Village Trustee Candidate. The Estates nominating committee will present their selected candidate for Estates resident vote. All residents of the Estates, 18 or older, are eligible to vote. Voting residents are NOT required to be dues paying members of the POA. If there are any alternate Estates nominees, they must be presented before, or at, the Electors meeting in the form of a written petition signed by 15 or more Estates residents. If a valid challenge occurs, a runoff election will take place later in January. The winner of that runoff election will then be the Estates candidate for Village Trustee in the Village-wide election in March for a two year term beginning in April. All challenges must be made in accordance with the Bylaws of the POA. A full copy of the Bylaws may be obtained from the Secretary of the POA (Michael Holland of 126 Meadbroook Road).

Upon completion of the Electors' Meeting, the Estates POA will hold its January POA meeting. All residents are invited to stay for the open January meeting. There will be a guest speaker to be confirmed later this month. Other important Estates issues will be discussed including the LIRR 3rd Track Expansion.
