Intern Open House For College Students

On Thursday, January 10, 2008 from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon, Senator Kemp Hannon, Chair of the Senate Health Committee, will be hosting an open house for prospective college interns.

Those college students who are interested in being a summer 2008 intern in Senator Hannon's community office are welcome to stop by the office with their resume and speak with the Senator's staff.

"Each year I try to give as many college students as possible the chance to intern in my office. I hope students find it a rewarding experience and it opens their eyes to public service," said Senator Hannon.

The open house will take place at Senator Hannon's community office located at 224 Seventh Street (2nd Floor) in Garden City (east of Franklin Avenue). Parking is available in the rear of the building.
