A Rockette Entertains At Garden City Public Library

On Sunday, December 9th an enthusiastic audience welcomed former Rockette Corliss Fyfe Whitney for her slide and video presentation about Radio City Music Hall, a favorite holiday trip, and the history of the Rockettes and her time with them. As the honorary historian of the Rockette Alumnae, Ms. Whitney was a wealth of poignant and humorous backstage stories about her years as a Rockette during the 1940's and 1950's. Ms. Whitney did not hesitate to demonstrate a "perfect split" twice. This high stepping program was indeed a holiday treat!
