Open Enrollment For Prescription Coverage

If you are 65 or know someone who is, Senator Kemp Hannon (R-6th S.D.) reminds you to beware there is limited time to take advantage of the Medicare annual Open Enrollment Period for prescription drug plan. Note: Enrollment runs just until December 31st, 2007.

Senator Hannon said, "The Medicare annual Open Enrollment Period for prescription drug plan began Nov. 15 and ends Monday, Dec. 31, 2007. Now is the time for Medicare beneficiaries to prepare and compare their health and prescription drug coverage options and choose the plan that best meets their needs."
