Basketball Player Of The Week

Artie Cutrone , former Garden City High School '05 All-County basketball player, now playing for Colby College, was named New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Player of the Week, Eastern College Athletic Conference(ECAC) Division III Player of the Week, and Maine Men's Basketball Coaches and Writers Association Player of the Week, for the Week of December 3, 2007.

Cutrone earned tournament most valuable player honors at the Colby Invitational. Cutrone averaged 19.3 points, 5.0 assists, 4.3 steals, 3.7 rebounds, shot 55% from the field (21-31) and 55% from 3 -point range (11-16) in a 3-0 week for the Colby Mules.

In the latest NESCAC statistics, Cutrone ranks first in steals, third in overall scoring, and is tied for sixth in 3-point shooting percentage.
