Christmas Card Design Winner

Nicholas Dimmling, a Garden City 7th Grader, has been named as one of four winners in a Christmas card design contest to benefit Tuesday's Children. Nick's card featured a red poinsettia plant surrounded by green ribbons.

Tuesdays Children is a non-profit service organization formed by 9/11 families and friends. It raises funds to provide various programs which are designed to meet the evolving challenges which face 9/11 families. Proceeds from the Christmas cards, including the one designed by Nicholas, will be used to support Tuesdays Children programs. Cards from the contest were sent to the troops.
