Early Deadlines For Holiday Issues

Due to the upcoming Christmas and New Years holidays, we will have some early deadlines in the coming weeks. Our offices will be closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day as well as New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.

The deadline for classified advertising and advertising in our Discovery section will be Friday, December 21st for the December 28th issue, and Friday, December 28th for the January 4th issue.

News material will be accepted on the usual deadlines, which are Wednesday at noon for that Friday's paper; however, we'd really appreciate getting material early due to the abbreviated week.

The next few weeks are typically a slow period for news, so if you have any material from the past few months that you'd like to see in print, please send them in.

Material can be emailed to editor@gcnews.com or brought to our office at 821 Franklin Avenue (corner Franklin and Stewart). Please include a phone number in case we need to reach you.

Email guidelines: please send items either as an MS Word document or as text. Please attach any photos as separate .jpg files, and include a caption for each photo.
