Great Memories Of Fr. Gabriel's 20th Anniversary Party

Fr. Gabriel Muteru celebrated his 20th anniversary as a catholic priest surrounded by his closest friends and all members of the St. John's Kenyan Children's Foundation. The reception was held on Friday, November 9th at the Millennium Room in Kellenberg Memorial High School. Some 200 guests celebrated this special day with Fr. Gabriel. Bishop Paul Walsh and Deacon Jack Mckenna warmly congratulated Fr. Gabriel on his achievements as a priest and a wonderful friend. The event was a huge success, raising much needed funds to provide education to many orphan Kenyan children sponsored by the foundation. The grand prize, a Christmas celebration in the city, was won by Marie Cozzi, who generously donated it back to benefit the foundation children. The money will be used to host a Christmas Party in Kenya, including gifts for all the children. The Foundation members want to thank everyone who attended this event for their generosity and support, and wishes everyone many blessings during this Christmas season and throughout the New Year 2008.
