Band Night

On January 5 th 2008, The Presbyterian Church in Garden City, 91 Chester Ave. (corner of New Hyde Park Rd.) in Garden City is hosting Band Nite 3. Since the first Band Nite in 2005, it has been a fun and productive night for local youth. Because venues for local bands on Long Island are often a far drive away, or have systems where bands can lose money if they don't bring enough people to the show, Band Nite can be an oasis for local musicians. It provides young bands in the Garden City area and beyond a close, safe, and fun place to play. The bands playing at Band Nite 3 are: We Sing The Body Electric, The Sweaters, Anti-Social Lullabies, & Signs of Saints. The show, arranged by Peter Cianciotto, is free and starts at 7:30 p.m.
