Girls Basketball Begins Season

Winter sports have begun at Garden City High School and on Tuesday December 4th both of GC's girls basketball teams played home games. The JV team faced Locust Valley in a non league game. Although they put up a strong effort, Garden City lost 32-30. Following that game, Westbury traveled to GC for a non league varsity game. The Trojans won by a score of 37-34.

Both teams will travel to Plainview JFK for non league games on Thursday December 13th. The JV game will begin at 5pm followed by a 7pm varsity game.
