Centennial Girls In Roughriders Thanksgiving Tournament

A team of 3rd Grade girls from Centennials Division III took to the turf at the Roughriders Thanksgiving Tournament on November 25th at Mitchell Athletic Complex and had a ton of fun while also achieving solid results. Playing in the Major division against two strong Farmingdale teams as well as Oceanside and Plainview-Old Bethpage the girls were prepared for the demands of the up-tempo indoor game and conceded only 3 goals in their 4 matches. Some great play from the Oceanside goaltender in the group decider prevented the girls from winning the group settling for second place and a great day of soccer!!
