Unexpected Guests At Stratford School

Victoria Miserere, Lauren Skramko, Julia Choi, Gabriella Meringolo, Ashley Rubin and Maggie Riceman stood ready to perform.
Second graders in Miss McCavera's class at Stratford Shool recently performed the play "The Unexpected Guests," for parents, relatives and friends.

The performance was the culmination of weeks of preparation. The students worked on memorizing their lines, remembering their cues and giving expressionto their words and actions. They also recorded their feelings throughout the process in writing assignments.

Although they admitted to being nervous before the big day, they were poised and confident while performing. The class enjoyed a Thanksgiving feast in the afternoon and is looking forward to performing again in the spring.

Victoria Miserere greeted her mother after the performance.
Richard Nessler, Ryan George, Ryan Trabold, Brian Ingegno, Stephen Lovino, Liam Dougherty and Christopher Donohue were ready for the show.
Lukas Baker was congratulated by his mother and grandparents.
Cara Heaney got a well-deserved hug from her mother.
