In Memoriam Edward Scott (Ted) Fries

Edward Scott (Ted) Fries died on November 23rd at the age of 83.

Mr. Fries was the son of the former Elizabeth Scott and Edward Jacob Fries. Ted leaves his loving family: wife Joan, daughters Pamela Fries Maggini (Massimo), Janet Eckholm (Eric-deceased) and son Charles (Vicki). He was the grandfather to Brent, Hayden and Kendall.

Before retiring, Ted headed his own CPA firm in New York City for many years. Having attended elementary school in Garden City and graduating from Garden City High School, he attended Lehigh University. Ted served in the U.S. Navy as a lieutenant during World War II.

Services were held at the Fairchild Chapel in Garden City. Interment followed at Locust Valley Cemetery. Arrangements were handled by Fairchild Sons Funeral Home, Inc.
