2008 Calendar Collection

Do you have lots of unwanted calendars that have been sent by well meaning people and businesses and for which you have no use? Well don't just throw them away. The Cathedral of the Incarnation is collecting new 2008 calendars for the Seamen's Church Institute. The institute ministers to mariners, who cross the world's oceans and navigate our nation's rivers, to bring us the goods and materials that directly benefit our quality of life. All who work at sea face particular perils, endure substantial physical hardships, observe strict discipline, suffer lonesome separations, and confront dangerous seas.

Last year, enough calendars were collected to make two trips to the Institute. Calendars will be accepted up until December 16. They may be dropped off at the Cathedral Office at 50 Cathedral Avenue or placed in the back of the Cathedral. For further information, contact the Cathedral at 746-2955.
